Innovative Film City
Last Saturday, me and Madhu had been to Innovative Film City in Bidadi (Close to Wonder La). We reached there around 10:30 when it opens. There were just around 10 cars when we entered. The entrance was amazing. Once we entered we were received by the Customer Representatives and they explained us about the attractions and the rate applicable. We could either pay Rs.50 as entrance fees and pay for every thing inside individually or pay Rs. 699 (they called VIP ticket) and go ahead for everything once. We decided to go for 699 as we had the whole day for us.
Immediately on getting the ticket (for some reason the Credit Card payment did not work on that day and we had to pay cash) one more person gave a pamplet which contained all the attractions inside and also ranked it so that we could finish the ones which would get more crowd earlier so that we spend less time in queue. Really a good and a helpful gesture.
Went to the 4D movie first and it was really an amazingly outstanding experience. With special glasses to be worn we were all set for the movie. The object almost came so close and it was almost hitting us. In fact, I adjusted and moved couple of times so that the objects does not hit me. There was a cool spray in some situations on the face to take us through the experience. We were almost trying to touch the objects that came on the screen as they appeared so close. The movie was about Big Bang and how lives came into existence and how it has come through years. Dinosarus were almost opening the mouth and were about to eat us.
After 4D, went into the Video Games and we have Rs. 100 each for the VIP ticket and enjoyed Archery, Cycling, Caring, Shooting etc etc.. Really a wide variety of games to suit all age groups. The Child in us comes out immediately on seeing those and we become kids. Really worth it.
Next was Wax museum and many famous personalities were there. Dalai Lama was excellent. Gandhi, Clinton, Harry Poter, Arnold, Michael Jackson, Elwis, Shakespeare, Albert Einstein etc etc.. were there. We took photos with almost everyone there
.
Next was Ripleys Believe it or Not. It was good and the Optical Illusion section in that was really amazing. Should go through inside that once to experience that
Now, it was time for us to feed our Stomach and there were few restaurants and nothing looked exciting so went into Cafe Coffee Day.
After the lunch, went to Mirror Maze. It was fun to be in a place with so many mirrors around you and to identify if you are actually walking towards an open place or trying to walk into the mirror. We almost ran into the mirror a couple of times and found out the way to the Exit at last. Really enjoyable fun on that.
Dinosaur museum and Fossil museum was next but it was really not very exciting.
After that it was time to Go Kart and I went in and it was a pretty small track but the crowd was really less for Go Kart compared to other places.
There was an artificial beach with waves (couple of times for every half an hour) and there was a place to relax and enjoy the ambience.
There was a Miniature City which had a miniature version of a Foot ball Stadium, Air Port, Ring Road, Statues etc and everything in a city. The caption there said something like “This is how King Kong would have felt on seeing our city”. That was true. Everything was so small and well done.
Finally decided to leave the place around 5:30. Whatever we saw before lunch was really good and after lunch main attraction was Mirror Maze. Others were ordinary. But on the whole a good place to spend a Weekend.
A Retail Street where many retail shops like Bata (already Open), Big Bazaar, Some branded clothing etc are coming up along with a 21 Theatre Multiplex. Once it is completely would surely be a good and regular Weekend outing for many in Bangalore.
Intially it looked good but as time went I didnt feel interesting..
I wanted to go to IFC but not decided when to go. After reading ur blog I have decided to go along with my friends to IFC next weekend.
