DD Podhigai
After a long time, I had a chance to watch DD Podhigai. Some things have not changed for almost a decade 
- Ithu oru vilambaratharar nigazhi
- Thadangalukku Varunthukirom
- Same two chairs for one man and a woman in Ethiroli
- Still reading letters that are sent through Post, mostly Post cards
- Similar answers like “Ithu migavum payanulla nigazchi”, “Thodarnthu kaditham ezhuthungal”
- Same room with one sofa and two wodden chairs used in the dramas, but with different curtains
Something new I heard this time was in one of the answers in Ethiroli, the guy said “Unga areala DD Podigai varalainna nenga poi unga Cable TV Operator oda discuss pannunga. Yenna DD Podigai la varra nall nigazchigalai pakkarthu unga urimai” – I have NO COMMENTS on this one
You forgot about those people who sit with same violin n nathaswaram for more than 5 decades.. During afternoon time they play movies like prakalath ( the older version) where everyone sings each n every minute.. DD eppo ujala ku maara pogutho terila..
DDnu sonnale its so nostalgic. i was watchin podhigai wen i was in India, there r quite a few programs which r very gud and informative too. and more importantly, there r programmes which r not movie based or mega serial based. and in love podhigai for that.
DD is very good these days. They showed the homa done by Swami Gadabudaananda in Guduvancheri to get rains in the area.
