I am in WordPress now

by yagyaraman

I was updating the Settings of my Blog in Blogspot and Clicked on the Big button @ the bottom of the page. It gave a JavaScript alert for Confirmation. Being a Software Engineer, promptly I clicked on OK. Within Seconds the page was refreshed saying something like “Your Blog has been successfully deleted“!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh. Goddddddddddddddd.

Bhoooooooooooommmmmmmmm“. My 29 posts were deleted. I thought I was clicking on Save but without noticing had clicked on “DELETE”. I ignored the Confirmation because I ASSUMED it was confirmation for ”Save”.  It would have been great if an Email confirmation was also asked before Deleting the blog. But may be it would come in future versions…

Gone is Gone. So created a new account in this and wanted to check this as well. So Yagayraman will be blogging regularly in this now :-)

Moral of the Story: Always read the dialogue box that Brower throws up :-)

Mr Raman, i find yr blog interesting and thought provoking.
The feelings what u had at Madiwala on cutting the trees I also felt when I had been to Coimbatore after a period of 2 years. The trees at Avinashi Road were cut and the entire stretch gives a Sahara desert feeling in the hot son, unlike typical Kovai. The reason is to widen the Roads……….

Roads widened but our attitude towards enviro friendly is narrowed.
